PHILANTHROPY

For over 25 years, alpha Kappa Delta Phi sisters have raised awareness and funds in the fight against breast cancer, donating over $1.1M to help the women and families impacted by this disease.

If we as women don’t fight for the issues that directly impact us, then who will?

Women are the heart of every family, so diseases that adversely impact women, adversely impact everyone in society. Since 1999, aKDPhi has focused our national philanthropy on Breast Cancer Awareness and our year-round service efforts raise awareness, spread education, and help fund breast cancer research. Every October, during national Breast Cancer Awareness month, our sisters nationwide dedicate at least one Service Event to Breast Cancer Awareness.

Women fighting for women:

We raise and donate funds to a non-profit organization dedicated to eradicating breast cancer.

We dedicate at least one Service Event per chapter to Breast Cancer Awareness each October.

We provide opportunities and resources for our sisters to learn and do more about Breast Cancer Awareness.

The aKDPhi sisterhood is united in the fight against Breast Cancer. We work together to spread awareness on all our campus communities through service projects, workshops, informational booths, and forums. As part of this effort, we encourage aKDPhi sisters to continue to learn about breast health, preventative measures, and opportunities for further engagement around Breast Cancer Awareness.
